I use a heavy duty 85 mil 3.5 gallon plastic pail from a plastic injection molding company. I don't use cheap buckets from big boxes. My bucket has more or less the same internal dimensions. This insert fits a little loose as stated by some other reviews. did NOT swim. It rotated and moved a little in the bucket during use. It can also fall out when draining dirty water. To solve this problem I added a few small pieces of rubber tubing to the outside edge of the grate - see photo. The hose is regular 1/4 inch ID rubber hose available at hardware stores. I cut a tube about 1 inch long and cut a slit in it to fit over the edge of the trellis. This adds just the right amount of friction to hold the grid in place and prevent movement, while still allowing it to be easily removed if desired.
