F'in useless! Doesn't fit in a regular sized bucket as advertised and it was quite painful to push further down because it keeps floating up.

Haven't used this yet but I can tell you it falls to the bottom of large 5 gallon orange shopping bins. I estimate the clearance around the edge is about 1/8", which is perfect. It comes off easily and feels solid and well made.

I've read a number of reviews saying the product doesn't quite fit in some buckets or could dangle in others. I've tested it on Lowes, Home Depot, pool paint buckets, and a few different buckets I had lying around. It fits snugly in most Lowes and Home Depot pails (with about ⅛ inch side clearance) and fits snugly with the rest. I would recommend this product given the price is a two pack.

I bought this to use in the Home Depot bucket I use for the car wash. It fits in a bucket but leaves too much room on the sides. Every time you try to wipe off your glove, sponge or whatever, the "sandpit" slips and tries to climb up the side of the bucket. This makes it difficult to use effectively and ends up frustrating me more than cleaning my flushing stuff. Not a total write-off for less than €8 but I would buy something else if I had the choice again.

I have another bucket with a grate built in to keep the grate in place. brush or mop that you put inside. This may not bother some people, but I like to rub my car wash towels on the grid to give them a really good cleaning between rinses. This thing just spins and it's very difficult to use the grate to actively remove particles from anything. In retrospect I should have bought a different bucket with a built in grate.

I haven't had a good experience with this grainy screen. It will not fit the standard 5 gallons. The bucket is generally tight, it needs to be modified to be a tight fit and NOT float which will stir up the sand that I'm trying to settle at the bottom of the bucket. I use a heavy duty 85 mil 3.5 gallon plastic pail from a plastic injection molding company. I don't use cheap buckets from big boxes. My bucket has more or less the same internal dimensions. This insert fits a little loose as stated by some other reviews. did NOT swim. It rotated and moved a little in the bucket during use. It can also fall out when draining dirty water.
