Review on Dometic 385230335 Traveler Lite Vacuum Breaker Kit with Spray: Efficient Solution for Hassle-Free Travel by Olusola Reid

Suitable for Sealand/Traveler 910 toilet

Replaced a leaking vacuum switch on a Sealand Traveler 910 RV toilet with this kit. I couldn't fit the slightly stretched ends of the hose into the strain relief bracket that comes with this kit, so I used a zip tie to hold them together. Also, this kit does not come with a vent cover while my original switch does. This is easy to remove so keep the original if you have one. It shouldn't affect the operation of the breaker without it, it seems it's only needed if the seal is leaking and allowing water to drain down, not up. That's when my hydraulic hammer failed. If you're having trouble detaching the tubing from the old one, a tip I have tried is to slightly heat the tubing with a lighter or something to make the rubber a bit more flexible. The hose then slides more easily over the ends of the switch. I didn't have to remove the toilet from the floor, the entire fixture can be removed by pulling it back out of the toilet. I had to find out through a YouTube video and I'm glad I did. Removing the toilet would make this job 90% more difficult than it is. If you can reach the switch, it took me 10 minutes to swap it out.
