They work very well in Lift Supports
My only complaint is that they are too stiff. When you open the back door, you can't raise it all the way. When opening, the struts only allow the tailgate to lift about 1/3 of the way, then the tailgate slowly opens on its own to the end of the way. I was told this was normal for the tailgate, but with my old struts I was able to fully open the tailgate with no problem.
