Definitely recommend this OBD, especially for older cars.
To find out why my 15+ year old Rav 4 engine caught fire I first borrowed a friend's OBD but couldn't get it to work. Then I had to carefully choose the OBD that fits my car. I ended up buying this one as it is Revane's choice. Yes, this OBD worked and indicated that the problem was not with the engine itself that was causing the check engine light to come on. Although I had to take my car to the shop to have it fixed, communication was a lot easier when I even called the trouble code. Definitely recommend this OBD, especially for older cars.
