Best combined cleaner and conditioner, this "cleaner " can also be used as a brush repair and shape fixer

Expensive brushes. Low-odour, easy to transport and extremely temperature-resistant for outdoor use. Much better than detergents or solvents. I've had some trouble cleaning acrylics and oils from bristle brushes, and kept trying to use solvents to rinse them out and regain some softness after the acrylic dried. This treatment was harder on the brushes than leaving them wet. Like using an astringent on my unconditioned hair, it got frizzy and rough. This cleaner has restored the softness to most of my Escoda Prado brushes. I use this when I want to store my brush for long periods of time, shape my brushes before travel, or clean up between really busy painting sessions. If soap is left on the brushes, a soft, dusty white film will form after drying. Two water strokes prevent sensitive water colors from being exposed. For oils, I keep my brushes wet with a flaxseed brushโ€”no solventsโ€”and use Master's Brush Cleaner to remove pigment or reshape the bristles. For acrylics I use cheaper brushes and leave them in the water longer so the paint doesn't dry out as I work. This brush cleaner is indispensable for gentle cleaning and restoration.
