Comfortable, secure and they stay in place

Over the years I have used many products from SixSixOne, Fox, Troy Lee, POC etc. These are some of the most comfortable knee pads and knee pads I have ever had. tried, and they stay in place during both kicking and accidental collisions. This is thanks to the clever placement of the strap and knee pad that holds the top of the pad in place. This means you might want to take your shoes off before putting them on, but I don't see that as a problem. You may think you need a hard shell on your knee, I was one of those people but that betrayed me. I love the flexibility of the knee pad and the way it hardens on impact and the Kevlar outer is durable with enough slip and abrasion resistance. The shin pad itself is great for keeping weeds or brambles from ruining your day out here in the desert. The only downside is that the middle strap seems to come loose if anything touches it, be it plants or the hem of my cycling shorts. The silicone material also irritates the skin easily if you overtighten the top strap. Overall I highly recommend them given the other products on the market.
