Review on Usparkle Portable Monitor Type C Speakers: 15.6" HD IPS, 3840X2160P, Anti-Glare with Blue Light Filter, Built-In Speakers - GS156AM1 by Austine Montgomery

After testing two other monitors, I settled on this one at Revain as it offered touch capability and was a 4k display. For me, these two features of a wearable monitor were considered the "cherry on the ice," so I figured something like this while I'm sitting at my desk at work would be great, especially when I'm doing virtual classes, which is where I'm at right now need my fingers instead of a mouse. PROS: This display offers a nice bright 4k clear image, the build is solid and of good quality, the protective case is really good and unlike others of its kind it stays secure when the display is held. The magnetic strip integrated in the slipcase keeps the monitor perfectly in place. This portable monitor can be powered by USB C/Thunderbolt-2,3,4,5, each of them works fine. Please note that when I first looked at this monitor I was using a 2013 MacBook Pro and was only able to test the HDMI cable at 1080P. So at this point I was not able to test the response to the 4k resolution nor the touch functionality. More on that below! CONS: While it's a really good monitor, in my moments of testing it on a basic Windows 10/11 PC, I found that to get TOUCH working I needed a USB-C to require a regular USB cable that is plugged in along with the power cable. While I can understand the reason for this, I find the ad to be a bit misleading as it doesn't mention it. And finally the price, I sincerely think the price could be lowered at least a bit to make the monitor more affordable. TO SELLER: Thank you for making this purchase possible. They should have announced that for the touchscreen to work, the cable needs to be plugged into one of the USB Type-C inputs and then into the computer. FINAL THOUGHTS: This monitor has a lot of potential to meet the needs of many viewers. This is a really good buy; as long as you can accept two cables connected for touch and power, and of course if the price isn't a deal breaker for you. Beautiful, bright, clear 4K image, durable and good quality, nice hard protective/stand case, magnetic stripe built into the case pad, USB C/Thunderbolt 2,3,4,5 port, 4k resolution and touch capabilities make it a great addition to any scenario.
