I need a 4K screen but don't want to waste the real estate of a large monitor on it. This small monitor is ideal for the task. While larger monitors are more beneficial as they are much more popular products with better scaling, if you need one you will need a small monitor. It's quite strange since tablets are basically small monitors with really good picture quality at a fraction of the price, but I think full speed video input makes a big difference. The problem with smaller monitors is that many of the features that come standard with mainstream monitors don't come naturally. The settings are made using two controls. One of them is a button that controls power (long press) / input source (short press) and acts as a back button in the settings menu. Second, a clickable slide switch that adjusts the volume when clicked and brings up the settings menu when clicked. The settings menu contains the default settings like Orientation, Flip, HDR. This monitor, unlike some cheap small monitors, has an adjustable backlight and simply changes the "brightness" by changing the color of the display. The difference in power consumption between maximum performance (HDR) and minimum performance is about 10 W. A 20 W Type-C power adapter is included. This monitor also seems to handle power fluctuations well, while many cheap little monitors restart when I turn on a powerful device in the room. Color appears normal, although I certainly cannot vouch for the suitability of this monitor for professional color editing. Response time and 60Hz refresh rate are decent too. I didn't find any dead pixels. The monitor comes with a magnetic combo kickstand and screen cover that uses small tabs on the cover to keep the monitor in place and upright. You can get hit and miss as some monitors don't catch on the ridge and can slide off - this monitor doesn't, it stays upright for sure. For a more permanent installation, this monitor has no VESA holes. But in return it has a very thin top and a thicker bottom where all the ports are located. While the HDMI connector is thin enough to fit the thicker part of this monitor, the manufacturer opted for a smaller mini-HDMI connector instead, and an adapter cable is included. The monitor can accept both video and Type-C power, so you might not need to carry around an HDMI cable at all.
