Review on SENA 30K-01 Motorcycle Bluetooth 🏍️ Headset and Mesh Communication System (Solo) by Oscar Colangelo

Biggest issue: Not waterproof and breaks after a few rains. What should we do when it rains? Drag and drop the entire block? Sena is not supported and after 6 months I returned my device to the seller for a full refund. (Thanks, at least it worked fine). Now back to the drawing board: Cardo Packtalk? Sena Support: Sena used to have an excellent support/warranty program. Those times are long gone. Unfortunately, Sena has released raw products in the past and then dropped support. The first 20 come to mind, although to be fair after a few software updates they fixed most issues. Another example is the original Sena Prism camera. It now appears that D&R's grid technology is not getting the attention it deserves. The battery life is bad and the app is useless. The grid works but eats the battery. It connects more easily to Sena devices older than SMH10 when connecting multiple devices. Theoretically, two 30K can connect multiple older devices to a mesh network. In theory, the practical application is so-so. The sound quality is better than the SMH10 (not comparable to the 20). But it still picks up a lot of static electricity and wind noise from other devices. All YouTube clips comparing Sena devices to 'other' brands conclude that others have better noise cancellation. I can't speak of that from my own experience. As others have noted, it's missing a feature-rich feature. The controls on the SMH10 work better than those on the 30K. Switching functions, especially the raster keys, is difficult on the fly. I could do without frills, but the intercom should do the trick: good and consistent sound quality; Ease of use and easy/intuitive connection to other (multiple) devices, including devices from other brands; good battery life and water resistance. 30K can't afford that.
