Review on Rough Country 26830 3 5 Inch Suspension Chevrolet by Icehot Cleversley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for the budget

I bought this kit to test but with that kind of money you can't argue. I installed it myself, which honestly was a huge pain. but it's pretty straight forward and easy, it just takes a lot of patience. I didn't like the idea of stacking blocks in the back, so I bought some solid 3" blocks for it. Also, I bought and installed non-original upper arms. I didn't like the angle of the standard arms when lifting and my ball joints were completely worn out so I just replaced the arms. I've ridden it for over 1000 miles so far and with this combination everything is perfect. The overall ride quality hasn't changed. These three items will cost around $450-$500 to purchase. Upper arms and strong solid blocks aren't required, but they make everything safer.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are flaws
