Great product, does what it promises. Looks like parts can now be found on their website

UPDATE AFTER CONTACTING HOOVER (FROM AMAZON LINK) ALL WAS ADDRESSES My first experience with Hoover's customer service was not good. My friend pointed this out to me, he noticed Hoover contacted some bad reviews and maybe I should try that email instead of contacting customer support on their website. I did and this person came back to me and sent me a new video the same day. They also sent me a mailer for the video that came out so they could figure out the problem. That was a few weeks ago and due to some business trips and a cold on the plane I wasn't able to check out the new video. However, without trying it, I saw that it spins freely and will most likely work. I picked up a new bottle of her Tile & Grout formula and placed it in the kitchen and bathroom. Because this formula suggests it can be used on other surfaces, I painted the hallway and the area leading to the kitchen. It was about a quarter battery (I have two batteries) so I didn't want to run out of battery and not be able to clean things up so I left then. I checked out their website and now you can find all the accessories you could want. Including two sizes of batteries, reels etc. Obviously this product was fairly new so Hoover was not fully stocked. Ideally, the customer support team should have been involved in the cycle. Now I'm a satisfied customer again. OLD NEWS: ALL SURFACE ROLLERS FAILED TO WORK AFTER 4 HOURS OF USE: After about 4 hours of using this device, all the surface brush rollers had a problem. It stopped spinning freely and caused the device to turn off. I saw no reason why he did that as nothing was wrapped around him and he was not damaged in any way. I switched to a gentle brushroll and it worked well. OLD NEWS: NO OTHER WAY TO ORDER A BRUSH ROLL ONLINE FROM FACTORY I contacted customer service online and after 2 attempts and a week of waiting (ridiculously slow) they bounced my email asking for my proof of purchase etc. When I received this The product can be checked for free. I told them about it and told them to treat me as a no warranty buyer. They informed me that this part was no longer available to order from the factory and gave me a link to find local Hoover service centers. I'm fortunate to live in a city that not only has 3 service centers (not just Hoover, but on their list) but one near me as well. If I were in my hometown it would require a 45 mile drive. I called the local service center in my area and they found the unit I needed the part for. He also pointed out that if I can't order an item online, neither can he. So I'm unlucky. Serious! FIRST REVIEW: Well, I liked this car in two ways. I have tile, wood and laminate. I use vacuums on all three and steam the tiles and use a damp mop on the laminate and hardwood floors. fights pet hair so it never feels like I'm getting stuff that clean. WHAT YOU GET*** The main machine itself with little assembly work**** Cleaning base unit with a small measuring cup*** *Two rollers, common and lightweight**** Charger and battery itself FIRST TIME USE First things first This thing caught my eye that it is heavy for its size. Maybe 12-15 pounds. Another thing that struck me was how well everything fitted together. The handle fits well. The roller is there. The roll cover was seamless. The water inlet was easy to grab and slide in, and the water outlet snapped into place as well. It struck me how well made it was. I put the battery in the charger and when it was fully charged I took it out to spin it. I put the container with water and mortar on the small size of the floor (they have small and large markings for the size of the floor for water and mortar on the entrance container) and washed the floor in the kitchen. It was no wetter than a steam cleaner could have left, and less than that. I intentionally didn't vacuum in the first place. The cleaning left no scraps of cat hair, although there were plenty of them. I had to walk over it several times in hard-to-reach places and later realized that I had overlooked some spots. I don't blame the machine for any mistakes as the bottom has a textured pattern. I missed the location and mistook it for a texture. I liked the smell of the solution added to the water. I used a cleaning bowl and turned the unit on for 15 seconds and it sucked up all the water. The roller looked clean so I put it next to the machine to dry. I forgot to drain the inlet water but the outlet water was full of dirt and cat hair. I flushed it down the toilet because I didn't want to dump as much cat hair down the kitchen drain. The device cleaned well without much effort. SECOND USE I intentionally didn't charge the battery as I didn't see the warning last time. I filled the large bottom bin (and noticed I didn't empty it after a previous use, oops). This time I started in a small room (bathroom) and by the end of that room the battery was dead. So it seems you can get two full rooms for free. It worked well until the unit shut down and the red battery light came on before it died. I charged it for 2 hours and then went back to the guest room, hallway and kitchen. The battery died again. Eventually I gave it a full charge again and did everything else I had planned (living room, dining room and entryway). This can be a bit of a chore when you want to go out and clean the roller to put away after the battery runs out. I also had a solution in the device that I didn't want to waste. I guess I could leave it like I accidentally did last time. CLEAN QUALITY This pad didn't put together some things I expected. A few pieces of dirt escaped him. A few dirty spots on the wooden floor. Sticky things on the floor that I had to scrape off to get off didn't come off. I also used it to clean a small entrance mat. There is a cat poop stain (if you have cats you know this is a problem). However, it saved me the vacuuming and did it just as well as a vacuum cleaner. For now I call it a win. The battery life was reasonable. It worked fine until the exit and alerted me. Two batteries can be a good investment if you want to use them in different rooms, but choosing where to clean will save you some money. Batteries are not cheap. ACCESSORIES The battery itself is $99.99 and the charger is $29.99 on Hoover & Revain's website. The fix is $9 or so for 32 ounces. to Raven.
