I was a little hesitant to order this based on some reviews but now I like it. I bought it primarily for the spiralizer but when it didn't make the spirals I was hoping for I was more than a little frustrated. BUT, turns out it was me, no car! Once I figure out how to do it right, I eat zoodles a few times a week. For any other folks having helix issues, this might be helpful! See the 3 *outie* grooves (for lack of a better word) on the inside of the plastic holder where the blades go? Now look at the 3 *inner* grooves on the outside of the spiralizer attachment (which has tabs to hold veggies in)? You have to line up or your veggies will get out of hand. I've found that it's best to cut veggies to the height where the ridges meet. Otherwise, if you're just cutting them in half, you'll need to hold the plastic base with one hand while spiraling down (even better if you pulse) until the grooves line up. Once the grooves converge, you have nice long vegetable spirals! Oh, and make sure you place the center of the veggies on the little prong that sits in the center of the spiralizer blade. I put it over the blade because I didn't even notice that prong. Works great! You just have to know how to do it right. The instructions say nothing about it.
