Although this product is very effective for deep cleaning windshields, it requires several more steps than the usual windshield cleaner idea. I recommend two microfiber towels for proper cleaning - one to apply the product and another to remove the product. The product is similar to a polish so after it dries to a haze you need to spray the area with clean water and then buff the windshield to a flawless finish. Again, this is a great product, especially for removing Rain-X residue or water stains, but it does take some effort (10 minute process) to get the end result.
