We have two large black ones and a medium black one and a medium Suede-ish teal one ( and a small brown one ) and they are very convenient for your feet, for storage of sheets, clothes, throw blankets, extra pillows & to use as a table for drinks or laptop/desktop. We use one as a sitting bench at a long folding table behind our sectional in order to comfortably eat and watch television. We have two to move around in the family room as needed and one at the front of the room to hold DVDs and games . Also like to use it as others have where when it’s unused on top it looks like a window seat -prop some nice pillows on it. When winter comes we might either buy another one or use one we already have for getting in and out of winter boots. If it’s on carpet (& maybe wood too) I recommend you get some sliders to put under the corners so that you can easily move it around (feels like wheels) especially if it has stuff inside .
