Review on ๐Ÿ”ง KYB 343144 Excel-G Gas Shock: Unmatched Performance and Comfort by Jacob Jefferson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My standard shock absorber is in the VW shop

We fit LOTS of these - front and rear for Link cars, rear for IRS cars. They are on most of my private cars. Like the smoothness and handling. A few comments - if you want a stiffer rear look at the REAR ONLY throttle setting. If you're using drop spindles the Excel works fine, but if you're using an adjustable beam many sellers are happy to sell a gas adjustable damper that doesn't have the correct valving. Do some research and if you look at the app and it's just as shocking as the Chevy Blazer, keep looking. lol

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
