The product is great for cleaning some stones in landscaping. The only downside is that I had to buy way more mesh than I needed. I only needed one piece which I cut off first. Unfortunately, part of the rock in my backyard was clogged with dirt because the contractor was working for us. My original plan was to get rid of the old stone and start over. After a few suggestions I decided it wasn't worth it. Instead, I decided to try and remove the stone. I ended up using this net to wash the stone. After some trial and error it worked. The 1/8" x 1/8" grid was the perfect size. There are no stones that I would like to leave behind. I could still squirt all the dirt out of my garden hose. We then poured the cleaned stone onto the new landscape fabric. First, I cut out a square piece of netting using tin snips. I attached the mesh to the Rubbermaid trash can and made a healthy indentation in the mesh to allow it to sink slightly into the trash can. I also tucked in the pointed edges of the mesh to keep it from snagging on items like clothing. I cut a 3 inch hole a foot and a half from the bottom of the trash can and used a drain tile to drain water off my workbench. With a little help from my nephew, we developed a fast cadence and got the job done relatively quickly.
