Bags are only .31 mil thick so won't hold much weight but tear very easily! We bought them to donate clothes and light items to thrift stores, so I'm very careful. Also suitable for covering some of the seasonal items we keep in the attic but again we are very careful about what we put in there. Next time I will look for a thicker mil bag.
