This is a good budget lens but you need to know how to get the most out of it. You're stuck with the F8 aperture. I have found this lens to work best on a tripod, at low ISO and slow shutter speeds. Shooting at a higher ISO and shutter speed creates a lot of noise. Use continuous shutter advance. Out of 1000 photos, you may get ten satisfactory shots. This lens has a shallow depth of field. Use your camera's manual assist to get the best focus. I used it on my Lumix GH3 with the appropriate adapter. Since this is a manual lens, there is no autofocus. Macro photos were soft and dreamy. This is a good lens to challenge your skills with.
