This is a great little radio! Extremely easy to use and program. No problem hitting long range amateur radio repeaters. Great radio so far! ****Update ***** Okay. I've been using this radio for a few months now and I have to say I'm absolutely delighted. I have compared this radio to other radio amateurs and it works better. Perhaps the most shocking comparison is this radio station with my Hytera PD782G. smoke it! I don't know if this is the standard Hytera's smaller antenna or what, but the standard 82C outperforms the standard Hytera. I hear signals on the Baofeng that even the Hayter with the noise gate fully open can't get through. The transmission performance is also impressive.
