I finally found a collar that is not too strong for my dog on the lowest setting. This collar would be absolutely perfect if the display was visible in the sun. A belt clip wouldn't hurt either. The remote and collar are much smaller than other devices I've tried. There is also no lag between the remote and the collar, which has been an issue with other collars I've tried. It doesn't have a lock switch, but since I'm only using it for one dog, using the switch on the left side of the unit (for switching between two separate collars) works like a key fob to prevent accidental use of the remote that's in my pocket . The battery life is amazing. I took the device out of the box and put it on the dog the day he arrived because it indicated a full charge. Eleven days later (with daily use) it still shows a full charge. They apparently redesigned the collar because the one they sent me has the traditional button closure found on every traditional collar I've liked to see. After trying many devices, I am very satisfied with this one. If they fix the screen so it can be seen in the sun I would definitely buy another one and give it five stars.
