Purchased to replace 5 20w halogen bulbs in a new cosmetic light fixture. Dimmer is not used. Plugged it in and turned on the light, only to see a flicker, almost like a candle, probably amplified because all 5 lights were flickering together. Color gamut was good at 6k but they weren't as bright as I expected despite being about as bright as halogens (I was expecting LEDs to be brighter for some reason). I put in the halogens that came with the kit and everything works fine. Maybe it's the transformer in the dressing table lamp, who knows, but they flicker to me so they come back. The flickering was almost certainly due to trying to use the original transformer that came with the halogen bulbs in the fixture. That transformer didn't have the right wattage to drive those LEDs. I ended up with a larger, brighter LED bulb, but I had to swap out the power supply for a suitable one to get satisfactory results. Some LED replacement manufacturers actually warn about this additional requirement (not this one, at least not when I bought from them) so I wanted to give an honest review of what is probably a good lamp (but all not bright enough for me). use as a substitute). Go from one to three stars.
