Ideal for occasional use
These devices are great for occasional use. They do not darken as much as a legal auto-darkening welding mask, so they should not be used frequently. I only use them when I'm welding a spot that prevents me from seeing the helmet. I've gotten my face "sunburned" from too much, so I had to retire. Otherwise they are fantastic for what they do.
