A sweet little thing.

Super handy little USB to Micro SD converter. Unfortunately, it cannot take the heat. I transferred a bunch of video files from 64GB and 128GB micro SD cards to my Surface Pro 4. Windows no longer recognized any of the Micro SD cards in the MobileMate after my second drive was only partially gone. After disassembling the device, it turned out that the soldering failed. This was probably caused by the heat of the several hours of continuous use. It looks like a device designed for this purpose should perform better.
