Great product. This spring compressor is ideal for front springs on many rear-wheel drive vehicles. It is of exceptional quality and will last for many years even with regular use. When you receive the instrument, immediately lubricate the threads on the shaft before each use. One person complained that the spring compressor was difficult to remove after the job was done. This is only a problem if the hole on the underside of the forearm (wishbone) is small. If it is, pull out the threaded rod and manipulate the hooks until the long one is at the top and the short is at the bottom of the spring. This allows you to pull the tool out of the hole. I know it's hard to explain but if you can imagine holding the long side of the hook but holding the short side. This is the position in which the tool must be in order to get out of difficult situations.
