Review on GIGABYTE Windforce Graphics Gv N2060WF2OC 6GD REV2 0 by Janis Saikovskis ᠌

Disgusting, not happy with the purchase.

The video card has temp problems, it's true. And now let me explain something to you: despite the declared acceptable temperatures, the hot Turing architecture and other "official charms", in most cases the rule applies to everything - the closer to 85 degrees, the worse. A video card with such temperatures will work its own warranty period, then a dump, or how lucky. And I say this not without reason, since the main reason for the high temperatures (engineers in the gig seem to be stoned) in the photo is the plastic backplate. He is useless. Yes, it protects the microcircuits from the reverse side, but are you going to put something on top of the vidyuhi in the PC case? Well, neither am I. After removing it, I was very surprised - the card not only took 2k MHz on the core under overclocking, but also the temperatures dropped to 73 under load (rdr 2k). I stumbled upon this tip on reddit and just in time: because of the high temperatures, the backplate almost melted, it sweated a lot, because of which the paint began to peel off from the back, and this was only after 5 months of work, in the photo I pointed to the place sweating Draw your own conclusions. Modifying a product for a company is nonsense

Pros
  • ATTENTION ALL! HOW TO FIX HEAT ON THE CHIP!
Cons
  • Read below, it will be helpful. But in short: yes, the cheapest, but for 28k, which is still overpriced, it's not worth your headache.
