These compact binoculars are small, light and powerful. I bought this and a SUNCORE 8x21 for me and my wife to use in the opera. I returned SUNCORE as it was tiring on my eyes even after I focused both eyepieces. The SkyGenius 8x21 is better and it's easy to focus each individual eyepiece. I also noticed that the SkyGenius 8x21 gives me a wider field of view than the SUNCORE 8x21. If you need compact binoculars for opera, theatre, sporting events etc. then I recommend the SkyGenius 8x21. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but it's better both physically when holding the device and when looking at it.
