Zippo is said to mean quality
I bought a Zippo lighter two years ago and have rarely used it during that time, mainly to light cigars. I only smoke cigars on the weekends and it takes me a month or two to smoke a cigar so I only used the lighter occasionally. The flint mechanism failed after two years. Undeterred, I bought another Zippo lighter last August. I found I couldn't get the insert out of the case without pliers. I sent it back and got a replacement. The next worked for several months and then had constant problems with the flint lighting. I'm disappointed. Zippo used to stand for the highest processing quality. Insoles are crap. Buyer Warning.
