Review on Saucony Kilkenny Track Black Orange Men's Shoes for Athletic by Amrozi Papi

So I've had a pair of shoes from this brand before and I liked them, they're good company. I ordered a pair in a size 12 1/2us and I usually wear a 11 1/2 to 12 so thought they might be a bit big. Received them at the time stated, brought them inside and tried to put them on. They were long enough, but at such a width I couldn't even get my foot halfway into them. How can you make shoes so big and so small?
