I like how well they treat all their employees (even the ones who work remotely). The benefits are really good as far as medical insurance is concerned but everything else can be improved upon. They could also do more to promote the vacation policy; currently it's only mentioned once in an employee handbook that goes unread most of the time. Also for those working from home, there needs to be better communication regarding projects or meetings. Some people don't realize this isn't your typical 9-5 job because of the remote nature. It makes me feel valued since I am able to come into work if I'm needed instead of waiting until hours later when everyone else has left. This is an amazing tool to be able to collaborate with our team members all across North America via video chat! I can't think of anything that we dislike as this has been quite helpful in bridging geographical distances within my organization!! The ability for me to connect virtually with clients from anywhere really helps when working remotely; it also allows us to see each other's physical locations so no more long distance phone calls lol.
