Much better than nothing - worth the money

All in all, it's an inexpensive solution to the main problem of hard to find the charging cap when charging your Apple Pencil. The short cord doesn't affect how I use/store my devices. It slides up and down so I have to adjust it every time I use it. This is normal, although I suspect some people get a tighter fit than me. On the other hand, the bonus detachable lace case doesn't always fit snugly around me and comes loose in my backpack about 25% of the time if I just pull it out of my pocket. Guess I'll use it until I lose it. (I'm not sure if my pencil is used in a way that requires that extra loose cap. I don't really care.) By the way, I noticed something strange: on my special 360x keyboard, I can use the unadvertised magnetized patch above the keyboard. 1 key to prevent the cap from rolling when I load the pencil. If you use such a keyboard function, you may not need this product, but I still like it to reduce the chance of losing the charging cap cover. Is there only one thing that can be bound/lost and therefore always available? At the moment I have to keep this charging connector in my backpack somewhere because I use so many different charging cables throughout the day (in the truck, in the office, at home). I can't find it as fast as I would like. Bad, but this feature of the product would be useful for people with stuffed backpacks who use more than one cable to charge their device.
