Review on Spectre 9944 Intake Jeep Wrangler by Jamal Yang

I received this item in 2 days with Amazon Prime 2 day shipping. I installed this on my 2011 jeep wrangler 2 door manual transmission sahara. The product was very well packed. I installed it with the Volant Throttle Body Spacer. In general, the installation took 2 hours. I used simple installation tools. For a newbie like me, the job was easy, good, and looks professional. The only difficulty I encountered was removing the air temp sensor from the stock and installing it in the new air intake as well. This must be done very carefully or it will break. I used a small flat head screwdriver to poke small holes in the rubber next to the sensor which helped pry the sensor out. I drove on the freeway (Phoenix) and got about 20mpg with a throttle body gasket, this air intake and a Sueprchips tuner tuned to 87 octane while my car was rated at 19mpg. Overall, my horsepower and torque have increased, especially in 1st and 2nd gear, and the gas per gallon has increased slightly, although I can't tell if it was the tuner, spacer or intake that increased the MPG , or a combination of everything. three. Although it looks cool. 5 stars so far no problem. The engine isn't louder and doesn't make any annoying noses unless you hit the gas pedal in low gears, which is when you really get the kick and sound, which is good. Update 1 year later. The entire rubber pad of the filter came off during a long drive, got into the intake manifold and damaged the engine. I'm looking for about $600 in damages. Very disappointed
