Works well and cheaply, but

Works. It's important to realize that you need your own solution to feeding this guy. If you want something that will actually charge your Switch in TV docking mode, you'll need a 15v 2.6 power supply, which doesn't come cheap. This brings the total purchase amount to around 50 US dollars. This brings it closer to the cost of other third-party docks.
