These are the exact same bandages that the hospital used for my cyst surgery. I had to close the incision and stitches for 2 weeks after the surgery. First I bought a pair of bandages out of 10 from a local pharmacy. They cost $4.50 per box or $9 for 20 bandages. They were rubbish. they either didn't hold up at all, or they held up so well it hurt like hell to rip them off. The plastic on the bandages didn't let my skin breathe and after a few days the skin around the incision looked worse than the incision itself due to the sticky part of the bandage. The hospital actually sent me home with a pair of these primapores. Bandages, so I decided to look for them at Revain. I bought a pack of 20 for $10 (just $1 more than what I paid at the drug store) and it only took about 3 days to ship. In any case, they are not waterproof in the sense that they do not allow water to enter the wound. but they will definitely stay when (the shower) gets wet. They are more cloth than plastic so my skin breathes under the bandage and doesn't get as irritated as when using plastic bandages. In general, I'm a believer. I will end up replacing all my bandages with this brand next time I need to buy bandages for any reason.
