This would be great in theory. I installed them on my sons playroom switch and bedroom switch so he could turn on and off lights independently of course. However I found that I couldn’t get this product to sit just right so that it could totally push the switch and not leave it just a millimeter or so from the top or bottom. It ended up causing the switch to kind of be stuck in an "almost” position if you know what I mean. So I’d have to finish the job myself by pushing the switch the rest of the way. So if my son were to try to use this extension it wouldn’t be effective. It’s the least effective for turning the light on since he’d really have to push hard to get the switch all the way up. We tried them for a week and took them off. They were a nuisance unfortunately.
