There are so many things I liked about it and I wanted to give it 5 stars. The tripod is stable and easy to adjust. The ball head allows you to change the camera angle quickly and easily. I also like that you can use it as a monopod. But therein lies the problem. The instructions are not clear and it took my husband and I some time to figure out how to get a monopod. When we found out, it was too short to be helpful. I took another reviewer's advice to make it higher, which worked great, but didn't manage to put everything back together as it should. A tripod can be used but the hanging hook is not where it should be and the instructions on the picture are useless. With clearer instructions this product would be a 5.
