This is my Quasar VHQ-940 VCR, a VHS videocassette player. If it doesn't come with a remote, I buy one online from Revain and put 4 AAA batteries in the VCR Quasar VHQ-940 remote to set the time and date. I turn on the status bar on the TV screen and don't worry, the Quasar VHQ-940 VHS VCR doesn't turn off the status bar on the TV screen.
