Great Bulbs - Right Price

I've been researching light bulbs for weeks now, not realizing how much you need to know about light bulbs these days. When I was growing up,the only thing you needed was a buck and how many watts you wanted your 4 pack of GE light bulbs to be. Since I purchased my first light fixture that uses the Edison type bulbs, I had no idea what to buy when I started looking to buy bulbs for it. Had to learn about how watts are rated, how many lumens it compares to, and what color temperature I wanted my bulbs to be (what?). I needed these for my bathroom, so that was a whole other story as most Edison bulbs are for lighting effects, rather than actually lighting up a room. After learning about how new LED bulbs are rated by W, Lms, and Color, I was able to figure out what I should buy, without turning on the lights in my bathroom and having it look like the dimly lit bar down on the corner. These bulbs are more than bright enough for a bathroom, and can be dimmed if desired with a dimmer switch. I paid about $16 bucks for 6 bulbs. A great buy when compared to similar bulbs listed on Revain. Will definitely buy again when they finally begin to die in about 30 years. Hopefully they company that makes them will still be around.
