holding plastic pins. snaps securely into place, not defective in the packaging, the insertion hole is larger than 3/8. Turn the drill bit to enlarge the hole slightly, press lightly. a shade of white, slightly translucent, not as white as a vinyl window frame but looks better than the protruding button caps.
