This is a good product, but it's important to know that it has its drawbacks. It binds to the phosphates in your reef tank which are then removed by skimming or using a 10 micron filter sock. I used it after a fish died in my aquascape that I couldn't remove. I added more GFO but struggled with algae associated with fish kills. It is very easy to use and works well, Phosphate RX. However, it will lower your alkalinity. In my SPS tank, where I maintain moderately high alkalinity, I simply could not keep the alkalinity above 7.5 dKH no matter how much additional 2K alkaline I added or how much I increased the dosage. I usually keep my alc at 9 and my SPS was very frustrated that it couldn't be kept stable when using this product. Finally, be aware that this can leave a "frosty" residue on your glass that can be a bit difficult to scrape off. This is a great product but you have to be very careful about the alkalinity when using it.
