Product works as intended. The reason for the 3 star rating is that it needs a small change to have it at zero. According to all other comments, there is not enough liquid in the product, or another possibility is to raise the pipes so that the liquid is close to zero. ATTENTION! When I pushed the tubes up on the first try, I broke the tube because the bottom of the plastic was square and the U shape wasn't wide enough. When pushed up, the pipe will break if lifted too far. Since I broke the first tube, returning it wasn't a problem as it was my fault. I ordered and received a new one, this time I pushed the tubes out as best I could. I still wasn't satisfied because it still wasn't close enough to zero. In short, I shaved/filed the bottom corners of the gauge to allow the pipe to be raised further, and kazaam! The level is flattened to zero. The advertised product would give five if it came with additional liquid or a better designed plastic sensor. Very easy to install
