Review on Trend DWS/LF/100 Diamond Abrasive Lapping Fluid, 3.4 fl oz: Blue Solution for Superior Diamond Polishing by Darius Glatzel

Three stars for the actual product: I think it worked. I think the oil is to prevent the sawdust from sticking to the diamond plates and the trend liquid turns black very quickly compared to water and windex. But as a newbie to sharpening, I can't say I've noticed an improvement in performance. I wanted to point out that the product caused me hives. So many different things get done in one day that it's hard to be sure, but Trend's hives and ointment were too consistently linked to be a coincidence — without proper statistical analysis. The last time I used it I got hives so bad I'll be arrested for indecent exposure if I scratch anywhere that itches in public. I've only had one confirmed allergy in my life: I've had a reaction to iodine injected into my veins because it's part of the dye used for CT scans (also called CT scans). So I'm not allergic. I also haven't broken through to WD-40, mineral oil, various penetrating oils, gasoline, etc. So I'm not sure what caused my reaction there, but I want buyers to know it's possible. . Let the buyer be alert.
