This is MUCH easier to manipulate and place than the ones I've used before with a sticky backing. The old guy was hard to get out of blisters or creases and tended to stick to himself at the most inopportune moments, leading me to throw anything out the window I tried to shut. This type is much easier to use. With no glue, just wet the window well and place, pre-cutting a little more than necessary to fit. It's so easy to remove bubbles or move them around as needed and also remove when no longer needed. It doesn't block light completely, it just diffuses it well, and while people can't actually see inside, the fact that it's opaque blocks most of the view, so you can't see outside. It offers a good level of privacy in the bath and shower as nobody can see through you. Safe and easy to use, the pattern is pleasing and looks good both inside and outside the window. I will definitely use it again and plan to buy it in the future.
