Bought because Walmart discontinued it and I needed another roll to finish my garage windows. Worked great and was easy to use. The backing was awkward to peel off at times, but if you work in a corner you'll eventually come loose.

This film was pretty easy to use and does the job. I followed the instructions and had no problems. I think this is a product that may not give good results if you don't follow the directions. It's a little difficult to move it straight. It only takes a few tries. It helps if you only peel off part of the backing to attach before removing the rest.

On the plus side it works well for privacy while letting in lots of light and I like the textured look of the film. When it's on it looks beautiful and I'm really glad we did. On the other hand, it's really very difficult to use (and we're very comfortable). We needed a very sharp utility knife and a very firm hand to cut, and even then we couldn't get a perfect fit. This is MUCH easier to manipulate and place than the ones I've used before with a sticky backing. The old guy was hard to get out of blisters or creases and tended to stick to himself at the most inopportune moments, leading me to throw anything out the window I tried to shut. I love this mini mosaic window film! I managed to put a large window to work to add some privacy without damaging the window. All the tools I needed were window cleaner, paper towels, pencil, scissors, water (preferably in a spray bottle) and my little window cleaner (you can use a credit card). Installation was easier than expected. I put a self-adhesive backing window film on the windows in my bathroom. The self-adhesive material is more difficult to rearrange if you bend it or get a crease. This requires a clean window, sprayed or wiped with water, and a scraper or flat sheet of plastic like a credit card. You *really* need to measure it beforehand (I thought 1 roll would be enough for 2 tall bedroom windows but it didn't quite cover one) and you may well have seams (better to have a tiny little gap, not a few or overlap).
