It's surprisingly easy to use compared to other things like wallpaper. You *really* need to measure it beforehand (I thought 1 roll would be enough for 2 tall bedroom windows but it didn't quite cover one) and you may well have seams (better to have a tiny little gap, not a few or overlap). It's also a lot easier to do with two than one, but overall it's incredibly easy. You measure the film against the window, cut it to size with a utility knife, then remove the film from the backing (a piece of tape on each side makes it easy to peel off), have a person hold the film near the window. while the other aligns and fastens it. You may have to lift the section and rub it back in a few times, but overall it's incredibly easy, and the static cling means it sticks well forever, then instantly peels off when you're ready to remove it. Great, super easy. As expected, this works like privacy film - little squares all over the place mean you can see the light and maybe the overall color but not the detail. So instead of seeing bushes and leaves and an air conditioner, all I see is light and shadows on the window itself and maybe some green tints in the background. a little out of date. This is amazing for my child's bedroom window covering, although I wouldn't hesitate to use it on my front door or anywhere else looks really matter.
