Installation was easier than expected. I put a self-adhesive backing window film on the windows in my bathroom. The self-adhesive material is more difficult to rearrange if you bend it or get a crease. This requires a clean window, sprayed or wiped with water, and a scraper or flat sheet of plastic like a credit card. Cut the foil a little further than you need and peel off the backing which is very thin and sometimes difficult to start but you have to remove it. Place on a damp window and squeeze out any bubbles from the center outwards. Use a new or very sharp razor, I had a used one for the first window and a new blade for the second and this goes a long way in getting a clean straight cut. Squeegee a little more until you have a nice flat window with no bubbles. This particle design looks like ice crystals on snow on the inside, but has a visible square pattern on the outside called a mosaic. You can see what's on the other side of the tape, but still give you enough privacy that someone can't tell you what you own or show your body clearly. I chose this for the bottom half of the second floor nursery windows as we currently have construction workers on the property next door every morning. I didn't want to start drawing the curtains and blocking the natural sunlight from the room.
