I have been looking for a reliable leather conditioner for black semi aniline leather for my Lexus SUV and I have found it , it is the perfect cleaner and conditioner. It gently cleanses (water based), does not stain or leave a shiny finish (which is good as skin looks matte) and the results have been excellent. I have used both the cleaner and conditioner on the dashboard, car seats and door panels. Nice results. I also used the conditioner on a cognac leather Parisian club chair that I hadn't treated in 6 or 7 years. (The previous conditioner never impressed me). It was fairly dry and heavily worn (e.g. scratch marks) and after testing I was a bit worried at first as the color turned quite dark. Some other reviews said it darkens the skin but eventually dries to a lighter color and because it worked so well on my machine I took the plunge and kept applying the conditioner. Because the stool was so dry from not being air conditioned for years, it soaked up a lot of air conditioning and was very dark to begin with. I went ahead and applied conditioner to all sides. The results were amazing. The paint dries out over time (after a few hours), making the color lighter - although darker than before the flush, it is actually very close to the original color when new 20 years ago. After conditioning, I could barely see the scratch marks. They're still there, but much less noticeable. I'm not saying this works on every scratch, but it worked well on the cat scratches on my chair. See photos before and after. I rarely review products, but after hours of searching for a reliable skin conditioner, I thought this product deserved a detailed review that others might find helpful. Hopefully.
