Multiple attachments included

Bought two sets of these attachments after driver and passenger side needed help pulling glass to raise. This is after the dealer asked $562 to replace both. If your window goes down and you're having a hard time getting up without help, this is what you need. It's tempting to just buy the larger gear, which is cheaper, but I found one of the smaller gears was also worn out. You will need a 10mm socket (preferably a deep one), a pruning tool, a screwdriver, tape and a chair. Watch plenty of YouTube videos before you begin. Raise the window all the way up. Secure the window with tape, starting at the bottom of the window, through the window frame and onto the glass on the other side. You need two strips. Remove the housing in 3 places, disconnect the motor from the mirror and unscrew the 2 x 10mm screws and screw them behind the door handle. Pry off the entire outside of the door with a pry tool. Do not carefully lift the door panel by gently pulling it towards you. If you lift straight up, it will be difficult to get out. Hard but soft here. This is where the chair comes into play. Place the chair close to the dirt but far enough away that it can support the weight of the door assembly and you don't have to hold it. Now you can see the engine. Disconnect the cable from the motor. Remove 3 screws. You now have the entire power window assembly. This next part is tricky and will require you to put on gloves, preferably leather, and a thin flathead screwdriver. Lay the motor assembly on a table, thick side down. Use a screwdriver to pry off the plastic on the ears and gently twist the screwdriver. You'll hear a crackle, but don't worry. Now go around the assembly and it will open. Take a picture as soon as you open it so you know how it comes together. Clean up any plastic floating around or you might do it all over again. Now do everything in reverse order. First time it takes about 20-30 minutes, I've done so much it now takes about 7 minutes from start to finish. We have 3 Mazdas. Now pat yourself on the back knowing you just saved at least $175.
