Maybe I was unlucky but my device stopped working 2 months after purchase. I've only used it twice. The second time I turned it on he belched once, the display went dead and he went dead as a brick. Switching to another car's 12 volt outlet made no difference. According to the manufacturer's website, sending it in for warranty repair requires postage, a $20 "verification fee," and return shipping. The total cost will likely exceed the purchase price of this product. I hope my experience is not representative, but rest assured that if something goes wrong, the guarantee is totally worthless.
