I originally wanted the Twelve South BookArc for my MacBook Pro to stand upright on my newly stripped down 'minimalist' desk. Read some reviews about ear tip sizing issues if you have leather. I have leather on my MBP that is thicker than usual to absorb shock and have decided to omit the pre-sized kickstand. Found this little miracle and couldn't be happier; Skin, no skin, MacBook Pro 13", MacBook Pro 15", Air, Win laptop, Chromebook - it doesn't matter. This stand has 4 adjustable hex head screws and they give you not 1 but 2 wrenches so you don't have to run to the garage to rummage through your tool box to find the right size. I unpacked the box and made two adjustments in less than a minute, and my 2018 13-inch MacBook Pro sat at attention on my desk without leaning to one side. Stable and upright. The stand is also very aesthetic. I also love the design of Twelve South but for HALF the price because of the beautiful looks and great customizability for any device you need - 100% satisfied and would buy again without hesitation. The sturdy construction and non-slip bottom make this the perfect solution for me.
